The Danda
The danda is an ancient symbol of monarchy. Symbol of "violence & force" given to a king (raja) to end disorder (arajakta), not brutalize enemies. It becomes eventually a symbol of feudalism and casteism and patriarchy. Staff of the upper caste upper class man.
