As long as the effect of onion consumption remains in the blood, sexual disorders keep hovering in the mind. Avdhoot people who do not believe in the existence of the body do not prohibit such substances. Some great saints who move in the state of the body do not consider substances like onion prohibited. The reason for this is that their Panchamahabhutik body remains in various high level cells. Due to this, any thing consumed by them does not affect their intellect and mind. But ordinary people cannot remain unaffected by the effects produced by the consumption of prohibited substances.

After some time of chewing onion, the density of semen decreases and its mobility increases. Still, due to some properties, Ayurveda has included onion and garlic in medicine. Garlic is useful for heart diseases. When there is high fever in the body, onion is grated and applied on stomach and forehead and onion juice is consumed. But if these substances are used continuously, then they prove harmful from the point of view of sanskar and thoughts. Using onion and garlic in a holy kitchen is considered impure. These are completely prohibited in offerings to God.
